Alabama Rot is a horrible disease that affects dogs. It can be fatal for your precious pets, which is why it’s so important to be aware of what to look out for and what the Alabama Rot symptoms are.
Cases of Alabama Rot have recently been reported in and around Wimbledon and sadly, there have been several deaths in the last few weeks. While we don’t want you to panic, we do want you to be aware of the situation and to know how to look out for signs of Alabama Rot.
It might be advisable to be cautious if taking your dogs to Wimbledon Common or local parks in the area. If you do, it’s really important to make sure that you thoroughly wash your dog’s paws when you get home as this could help to keep them safe.
If your dog does have any form of skin lesion on their feet, we would advise avoiding local parks such as Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. 🐾
Please make sure you:
🐾 WASH YOUR DOG’S FEET THOROUGHLY AFTER WALKS IN THE MUD
🐾 COME TO THE VETS IF YOUR DOG HAS ANY FOOT OR LEG SORES
