Brave cat saved after accident

Brave Flash was hit by a car which left him with a large extensive wound over his 'ankle' area. We needed to perform a major operation to bring a skin flap from his abdomen to his foot otherwise we would have needed to amputate his leg.

The surgery involved moving skin from his tummy and grafting it around his leg. He needed to have his leg bandaged and was hospitalised for a few weeks after the procedure.

The operation was a success and Flash has made a complete recovery and is back to his 'normal twirly brainless self' according to his devoted owners. During the whole time he was well behaved and a great patient.
